Sex is biological, not logical
Sex is biological, not logical Approaching sex with logic is guaranteed to dissapoint. Many things people do or refuse to do are not logical. They are biological. With the hangups and twists that biology and life does to tweak the outcome. From the widespread fetishes involving bondage and dominance I conclude there is a dimension of power to sex. People seem to like being made into sex slaves. Or to feel fully engaged in or accept sex they prefer to be in a power exchange. Does this dimension explain why politicians and rich celebs seem so sexy to some? Why do so many who claim not to judge and to have overcome various taboos about sex still denounce "cheaters" while so many still cheat? I have had some women explain they saw nothing wrong with any fetish, gangbangs, male or female homosexual sex, anal intercourse, porn, exhibitionism, sadism, bondage, flailing, etc. Except recreational sex between two married hetero "cheaters" was totally unacceptable! Unless the "cheaters" had notarized permission slips from their spouses! More women seem upset at trespassing on their sisters' property rights in the unfaithful spouse than do men seem to be worried about hurting the unfaithful woman's husband's feelings... If adultery is a sin, does have permission make it less so? I do not recall there being an exception for adultery with permission in the Ten Commandments. Curious that the vestigal notion of sin only pops up in this area. |
