Trump will be acquitted Despite the clear evidence presented of Trump's behavior in violating his oath of office and inciting insurrection, the GOP Senators are unlikely to convict. Still the Dems and independents will see Trump for the evildoer he is. Trump lost fair and square, and refused to go quietly. We hate a sore loser and a big liar. Meanwhile the vaccines are getting into arms, and the infection rates are falling. The economy appears to be poised to bounce back. The stock market is showing there is life in the economy. Trump's legal team is ineffective and rambling. The House managers are skilled, clear and effective. A key point is that Trump did not condemn violence for hours, and he did not call out the National Guard, VP Pence did. Trump incited a riot of insurrection to stop the count of electoral college votes for Biden. The court of public opinion will convict Trump and that is good enough. The stain of Trump will tar the GOP for a few years at least. Meanwhile the criminal cases are just starting... |

Georgia state is starting to investigate Trump's phone calls to try to switch the election results in Trump's favor. Interfering with elections is a felony.

Pretty much the whole world is watching. No independent observers think Trump is innocent and it is pretty clear that some of those taking part would have committed acts of assassination. If Republican law makers don't judge impartially, the question ought to be asked; just who are they representing?

As predicted Trump skates free. Only criminal cases can stop him. Like Al Capone, this mobster wanna be can be nailed for tax fraud. The hush money payments to Stormy Daniels were deducted as legal fees. That is a crime. Nail him. Imprison him.
