Hustlers
Hustlers I saw the new Jen Lopez movie "Hustlers". J. Lopez is very good and charismatic in this movie. Her pole routine is amazingly good and sexy. The film is based on a true story of pole dancers who respond to the 2007 meltdown in the economy by stealing from drugged men. The guys do not press charges because they are ashamed usually, but some fight back and stop the fun when the police trap them in the act of fraud. While billed as female empowerment the ladies were just being corrupt and selfish, and stealing. Apparently they stole huge amounts of money and got probation sentences as none of the victims wanted to testify and admit their stupidity and sex hound behavior. Stealing $50,000 and causing a guy to lose his job and house is not admirable. The victims should have immediately called the credit card company and claimed the transaction was fraudulent and had it reversed. The dancers could never win in court or convince anyone the guy spent $50,000 on one night of clubbing. I have reversed fraudulent charges of $400 easily, so huge ones would be simple. The club would just get debited and the money would come back to the victim's account. Apparently the guys were too embarassed to fight back. Stupid and crazy to me. What would you do? |
