Wrong again

I was wrong again about the GOP. I thought they had more sense and honor. Wrong again. The tax cut is a gift to the rich, paid for by the poor and middle class. With a hit to the high tax Democratic states like California and New York. Next they are going to try to slash Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. To help the top 20%. Welfare for the rich just increases income inequality. The economy is doing great and does not need stimulus. The new jobs will go to automation not the blue collar workers.

I hope the losers will remember who screwed them in 2018 at election time, but so many vote against their economic interests I doubt they understand. If North Korea blows us up with nuclear weapons from icbms it won't matter anyway. Not feeling my usual optimism.

Human stupidity seems to be the most powerful force in the universe.

Maybe the Federal government will shut down and we can wake up the electorate. Trump will say its the Democrats fault, but the Gop controls Congress and the President. Facts don't seem to stop Trump's bs. Things will probably get worse before they get better.

I think I will just focus on<b> hedonism </font></b>and forget trying to improve the universe.
