Everyone has their first time. I lost my virginity in college, like most of us. Sorry about that. I was always of the mind that the first time would be an intense and earth shaking moment for all parties, and I guess the hopeless romantic in me optimistically wishes that for everyone. If it makes you feel any better: 1) mine occurred when I was older than you are right now 2) I was way less experienced, which caused a great deal of consternation for her 3) despite my profound interest, I had "difficulty" -- it took a full 24 hours and a lot of gut wrenching emotions before "success" was achieved. Hopefully you've been able to enjoy more of the crazy and dizzying passionate side of it since that event, and thanks,as always for sharing!
