The robbery of Angi This is true.... June 8, 2011 about 4:30p this lady comes in and says her phone is dead and her ride left her can she call someone. i said sure and she talked and then said thanks and left. it's now 5pm we (jarred, eric and i - all the people that work in my office) are getting ready to go. i set my purse and bottle of water on top of my desk and realize i forgot to shred this piece of paper. so i grab it, head to the back room throw it in the shred box and come back. the lady from earlier is standing in my door. i said how can i help you. and she says did any one call back for me? i notice that my purse is missing. i say no one has called for you and we won't know the rest of the night if they have since we just forwarded our phones for the evening. and then i say do you have my purse? she says no why would i? and moves just enough for me to see it in the hand that's outside the door. so i run and grab it and she this isn't yours and i said the fuck it isn't give it to me. she tries to run towards moxy''s the hhair saloon next door while i have a hold of my purse. i yell for my co workers as the door is still being propped open by my foot and then she turns and tries to run towards little casears pizza. so in one hand i have my purse straps in the hand i have her purse traps. she then lets go of her purse and plans on taking off with mine. the first thing i think is, you stupid cunt, your id is in your purse! then seconds later one of my co workers comes out the door hollering at her and she lets go of my purse and grabs hers and runs. the main thing i was thinking was i have $300 worth of electronics in my purse, that thing is not leaving this building!  i checked my purse over several several several times she didn't take anything out of it. so this a stupid criminal moment. steal the purse from the desk but wait around to ask if there are any messages for her and then get caught with the purse! of course the adrineline was running and my stomach hurt and i did rip up my fingers a bit but nothing was lost. my co worker asked, why didn't i punch her in the face? LOL i couldn't answer the question

Never underestimate the stupidity of someone to try to rip you off. Good to hear things turned out OK given the circumstances.
