today was Beltane. May Day. a celebration of the fertility ritual in Gaelic Ireland.
today we celebrate by dancing the maypole. for many it is a time to celebrate
the divine feminine and divine masculine ~ the magnificent<b> lingam </font></b>represented
by the pole and the beautiful yoni, a highly decorated hole in mother earth.

Beltane marks the the beginning of summer in Irish mythology. Great bonfires
were built to mark the transition of the year. in modern times, Pagans gather in various festivals around the globe to dance the maypole and celebrate the turning of the wheel.
