I'm with you on this. There are times when I get messages here that make me feel dirty and I need a good scrub to make me better.....but it doesn't work. There was a time here when we could turn the message box off on our profiles....that's not available any more. It's a matter of weighing up whether the benefits of blogging here outweigh the nastier aspects.....sadly I am coming to the conclusion that they do not.  ~~Anais Nin~~

You're right, it's hard enough as it is for the genuine guys to find a potential date on here without the bad guys insults proving too much for the ladies. Sadly, it's not something that can be 'fixed' over night.

I had a sobering realization a couple of years ago, these men weren't raised by wolves and don't walk with the knuckles dragging the ground. These are the same nice men who are your neighbors and friends. That's the thing, it's not the type of *man*, it's the particular face a ans chooses to present given his assumptions about what will attract a woman. They aren't Cro-Magnon men, they are just showing that small part of themselves here. But the rant is understandable.

Yeah, you might have to. I know guys have a tendency to not read profiles. I know this because I have had some guys hotlist me, and flirt with me, and even chat with me to get me to sleep with them - even when my profile is very clear that I am only interested in women. And, if you need someone to loofah... just look m up! lol

We all know the anonymity of the Internet lets the worst surface but it still sucks. Even ignored it gets hard to take and an interesting good looking woman such as your self I'm sure gets a bunch of it. Too bad if you leave the blogging as you were missed in your last absence. I was driving in southern WI today and saw an SUV with the license plate cakewmn and got all excited I, a married man was going to see you in person. So, bathe, brush off and stay picky.
