Who I Am

Who I Am I may not be someone's first choice, but I am a great choice. I may not be rich, but I am valuable. I don't pretend to be someone I am not, because I am good at being me. I may not be proud of some of the things I have done in the past, but I am proud of who I am today. I may not be perfect, but I don't have to be. Take me as I am, or watch me as I walk away.

I am sure you are someones first choice; What does money have to do with anything; I am sure there are lots of people who pretend; I think we all have a few things we re not proud of, all we can do is try and be the best we can; I have not met anyone who is perfect and I would do well to score a 50%; Just be yourself, now one asks for any more and if they do, its time to move on.

As I was not familiar with it, I looked it up on YouTube and found many versions. My favourite was the one deemed the official audio one. The melody is haunting and the words powerful. Thank you again for sharing it. but, then, I thought, well... wait a minute... this one is simple with 'please tell me who I am'... and, then I knew it was the right one... interesting thing about this band... they did the soundtrack to the 'Tron' movies with Jeff Bridges... I luved the soundtracks... then Jeff Bridges did 'Crazy Heart' and he sang all of the songs that he performed in the movie... then, 2 years ago, he came to Dallas to lower Greenville, and I went to go see him in concert... In a lull while he was getting ready to play a solo and sing... I yelled out: 'Go Tron... Tron Rules'... and he stopped and looked over and started laughing... The venue was small... holding around 500 people... that was a good moment... anyway... glad that you liked these songs...
