Violence and Attention PETA! There are a lot of negative emotional associations made with the wearing of fur. Why do the same things not apply to leather coats? Or shoes and handbags, come to think of it... I think we as a society should be up in arms about the PETA terrorists, threatening people who wear furs. Threats of violence are not to way to win people to your cause. I think the ads are sexy. And I think PETA people are violent and dangerous! There are a lot of negative emotional associations made with the wearing of fur. Why do the same things not apply to leather coats? Or shoes and handbags, come to think of it... 99% of us don't think twice about our leather shoes, coats, bags, or briefcases..... but fur is ..... farmed in exactly the same way, in fact often slaughtered in a damn better way than leather. I don't see any difference..... So I am gonna wrap my mink swing coat tightly around my body this christmas in the N.E. and hope PETA isnt around... As i belive they take it all a little far sometimes.....pushing thier beliefs on others is no way to gain progress for your cause. Merry Christmas Everyone!  |
