I saw this article, too. The more I read, the more annoyed I became. Like you, I wasn't aware there are more than two biological genders, regardless of the current politics that seem to say otherwise. Sexual wellness is NOT a fundamental human right. And also "A vibe is not a toy — it is an essential". WTF??? Food, clothing, shelter. THOSE are essentials. A vibrator is more in the realm of a luxury. Granted, it may seem otherwise, but it's not essential to life. "By reducing them to juvenile novelties..." Sorry, they're called ADULT TOYS. Does that not give an indication that they're intended for ADULTS? When someone speaks of "adult toys", is it not implicit that said toys are for SEX? This politically correct train that so many people have jumped onto has certainly taken a plunge right off a very steep cliff into the ravine of absurdity. Pagan  Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!

Our society seems to be crumbling before our eyes with the Woke and PC crowd that make our historic truths disappear instead of using them for a learning tool inwhich they were intended .....seems everything is being watched and edited now by our big brother tech gods .... ...as the world turns...... in my humble opinion, there are two theorems that drive much of human behavior..... 1. folks don't want equal rights.... they want specials rights.... 2. if some is good, more is better ....everything else is just a refinement or a spin..... ...so we end up splintering more and more as folks clamor for special rights.... and decency and decorum for the rights of others gets further and further marginalized as folks clamor to be heard in THEIR shouts of what about me..... ...and we have a willing press today to put a glaring spotlight on the issues that have always been present but not mainstream....oh, and if you are plain old normal (at least on the outside)..... prepare to be marginalized out of existence... too bad they shout, you are yesterday's news.... .....so now, what does this have to do with vibrators, dildos, cock rings, lube and other assorted and sundry items.... articles like this this is are just an attempt to mainstream the more is better theme.... and unfortunately as everything becomes more "yada yada" and more mainstream... everything is in your face at the buffet, and nothing looks appetizing..... ....my humble approach to life is never sell the steak.... always sell the sizzle and smells wafting through the air....the pre dining banter is titillating .... and JMVHO, the dining experience is so much more enjoyable.... ...so Verona, I am glad you are all woman full of well thought out and articulated opinions.... versus the 50 shades of some other undefinable creations of those looking for their own version of special.... one day they will learn that special means nothing in the broad sense of public opinion...I always believed folks should be special to themselves and the small circle that matters most.... ...carpe diem.... now where did I leave the handcuffs and silk scarf.....yeah... they are still ADULT toys.....

Naughty naughty.... I see a dotcom link in your original post! I think the folks here at passion consider it hate speech when you try to take eyes off of their pages. Funny how that doesn't apply to all the commercial accounts here tho huh?  I'm sticking with the phrase sex toys. I always seem to find myself with a slight grimace when I use the word "adult" as an modifier.

Sorry I didn't read the article, probably don't have a full understanding what rubbed you on a non erotic zone. So my comment might not be relevant. Self loven is always there to give one a hand when they are in need. But when it comes to sex toys I think there's a bit of male gender inequality out there, just look at the ratio of dildos to pocket pussies on market. Smiling! I see they have a new App out that will check your social media comments and will suggest editing to something that might be considered offensive.

Does it fall under their "fundamental human rights?" you crack me up! then i got to the original post and see that is a quote by the marketer. WoW! just WoW! yeah.... i really don't get the gwyneth paltrow wellness push, either. as for genders... there are people who are intersex born with multiple chromosomes. like an extra X or Y. there are people who consider themselves non-binary. before in my career i didn't really have to address gender. in the current gig i do. and i'm not sure what i am supposed to do if someone is trans. i haven't had it come up at work so i haven't ask. but i am curious! and think the answer is gonna be... go with biological.
