I have a good ear for music. I picked up the piano and taught myself how to play, at an early age. Then... I began to take piano lessons and realized that I was playing it all wrong. It might have been easier, if I had STARTED taking the lessons FIRST. The thing is... when I was fooling around on that keyboard (as a kid) - IT never told me what I was doing right or wrong.

I'd think two people who know their bodies (even with minimal experince) would be able to help each other discover the right way to play, in the bedroom. That's how I started.

I've played some really, bad pianos in my life ; outta tune, warped and not quite up to my standards. It's never held me back from stepping behind the ivory keys of another one - one I've never played - and giving it a shot. Funny thing is...every piano I've ever played,is just slightly different and I'm good with that.

Piano teachers ? Sure, they're fine. I had a bunch... and I didn't like all of them. You need one that suits your style and... you have to be an eager, patient student.

It sounds like you just needed the 'right' teacher. I was probably busy at the time.

interesting post for sure

it took me a few years to find a "teacher" but I know my technique was much improved and I am sure the first encounters would have been much more enjoyable for us both if I had know her for my first expirence

Jules A wonderful idea that can actually work.
When I was 58 I started a relationship with a girl 19 years younger, the first time we made love she was on top riding me, when she said "I like it in the other hole, do you want to try it?". When I said yes, she lifted up and guided me into her ass, that was my introduction to Anal Sex.
She was a wonderful tutor, and I was an eager student, I have been a fan of anal ever since.

For me, feedback during sex is still so important even today. Every woman is different in their likes and dislikes, so what works for one, may not work for another. I am so fortunate to have someone that is VERY expressive and whose body provides me with the most delicious feedback. I know exactly what she likes and what is stoking her to sexual pleasure by the way her body reacts to what I am doing and the sounds of pleasure that escape from her.

Your thoughts are so true Jules, even for men as well. I feel if I had been with an experienced woman who would have had the patience to show and teach me the art of making love, it would have opened more doors for me. I mean, I would have been more open to explore earlier in life and been more willing to satisfy my partner instead of just myself.
I'm sure you know that early on, men just want to get their rocks off and oh yea, if the girl/woman orgasms, good, if not, good too. Not until we learn how to place our partner, do we become a good lover. I mean bring her to orgasm as often as she wishes before having one.

A very good insight Jules.
