kindness and manners (have we lost them?)

As the buisy shopping and holiday time fast approaches, I have been seeing less people showing kindness and manners. they wait in long lines and take it out on others and the cashiers or on family. in this time of giving thanks shouldn;t we show kindness to others it is a simple way to both brighten someones day and it wont cost you anything. it is a gift that we can give to all and doesnt cost anything. It is one of the values that is being lost especially by the youth. and with the hard times in our country now, remember the one you were rude to may be the one giving you thew next job interview. so just keep your cool and show a little kindness and manners.

You are absolutely correct. There is such a lack of respect for anyone. Not only could the one they are rude to be giving them their next job interview, but that person could be on the edge of suicide. One wrong word could send them over the edge.

Go read my latest blog. Basically saying the same thing you are. I have noticed such a decline in people--not only here, but everywhere. The people here are a little more blatant about it, though. I am here just to blog and participate in the magazine. I am definitely not impressed with the people who contact me. Men do not know what a gentleman is anymore. They want the benefits without being friends. It's called "friends with benefits" for a reason. And notice the word friends comes first. Some of the women are just as bad. The way I see it, not only has respect for people gone by the wayside, but self respect too.

My idea of "help from above" is a sniper on the roof!!!
