Have you checked your bank account lately? My damn bank accounts have been acting weird. I pay my rent on the first Friday of the month. Last month I went to the bank and deposited my rent. I forgot to deduct $40 dollars from the amount of my deposit because I was going to use it to buy a prepaid card to purchase my VIP membership. I stopped at the ATM on the way out to grab the cash. The receipt I got showed my balance as being twice what my deposit was. I went back to the teller and asked her if the amount was right. (fingers crossed) She immediately said no and asked for my account info to look up my balance. She printed it out and gave it to me. The receipt had my deposit twice but it appeared that she manually deducted one of them and it showed what my correct balance was. I asked the woman three times why it was showing up wrong but she wouldn't answer, she just kept asking if there was anything else she could do for me. I'm thinking to myself, "Yeah Bitch you can answer my damn question!" I didn't think much more of it and went home. I check my balance again before I paid my rent and it still showed the extra money in there. I paid my rent online and went on about my day thinking all the while that if that extra money is in there tomorrow I'm going fucking<b> shopping. </font></b>HAHA!! My birthday was in a couple of days too. I was gonna live it up. LOL!! Of course the next day when I checked my balance it was correct. DAMN!!! I was genuinely disappointed. I changed banks a week later. This month I go to the bank and make the deposit a day earlier than usual. I had to go downtown and see a lawyer so I killed two birds with one stone. The lawyer didn't charge me anything so I had a couple hundred extra dollars to spend. Today I check my balance before I was going to pay my rent and I notice that my balance is short. I check and the deposit I made yesterday was $150 dollars less than what I deposited. I call the bank and they tell me their system is down call back in 30 minutes. I call back an hour later and they tell me they are performing maintenance on their computer system and to call back in 30 minutes. I'm like WTF? I call back a hour and a half later and finally someone can help me. When I tell the customer service person my issue, she checks my balance and tells me that it is correct and that II deposited $150 dollars less than I actually did. I tell her that I have my reciept from the teller and the receipt from the ATM showing my correct balance. She of course insisted that I was mistaken. WTF? I call my local branch of this bank and talk to the manager. I opened my account with her. She looks at my account info and sees the deposit but it shows the incorrect amount. I tell her that I have my receipts from the day before. She said if I had receipts that showed that I deposited the amount that I said I did that she would credit my account and buy me lunch. I didn't mention it earlier but that bitch is fine! I want her sexy ass for lunch. LOL!!! I said I'm on my way there since the bank is only ten minutes away. She says that she can't do it today but if I come there on Monday she would straighten everything out and if they were wrong she would still buy me lunch. She also emphasized that she wasn't cheap and I could get whatever I wanted if they were wrong. HOT DAMN!! I got this one in the bag and getting lunch too! I can taste that crab cake platter now!  So after reading all of that I wanted to ask you if you've had any crazy banking issues lately? If so please share. Now back to your regularly scheduled programing. bchairm; GO RAVENS!!!      |

Should I renew my VIP membership? The big 4 banks were part of the cause of the financial problems the started screwing the economy in 2007 so I don't voluntarily give them any business. I have had other issues with BoA and especially Chase. Credit Unions give slightly better rates on various things and often better customer service. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Damn! I'll watch out for that. My main complaint would be that sometimes I get poor customer service. I don't trust banks and just use them to pay bills. I keep my money under my mattress. LOL!!! Thanks for commenting.

depends if you are getting what ever you need from this site- i'd save the money I can't get what I want as easily or do what I enjoy doing the most. Thanks for your comment.

I don't pay at all for this site(s), I can make contact with the few local women here using points or IM. Also, the data security here is as effective as an old screen door, so I have no plan on paying for this anytime soon. I have had other issues with BoA and especially Chase. Credit Unions give slightly better rates on various things and often better customer service. BoA is the bank I'm having my current issue with. Last month it was M&T.

Thank you for sharing... Not lately ... a few years ago, when I made my permanent rental because of my rent, luckily right after I was at the bank, I found out on my bank statement that it was not my landlord but some woman have transferred in my city, but took a few days on the part of the bank to clear all again. I used to work at one of the major banks, shit like this would happen ALL THE TIME. I remember once, one of my tellers made a cash deposit to the compete wrong account. Cash deposits post instantly and can't be undone. It was a fucking nightmare. But depending on what bank you use, you may just be with one of the shittier banks. I'm the same as Lala, credit unions all the way. There is a Navy Federal Credit Union nearby. I'll check them out.

Hello. I go to G & M's or Moe's when I eat out. Prefer G & M their crab cakes are huge! Take out I order from Seasons Pizza. You must have lived here because a lot of people don't know about G & M's Thanks for commenting and take care.

I never have. This one was on me for the amount being wrong. I went to see a lawyer after I left the bank but I took $200 dollars out of the ATM instead of $40. I thought I might have to pay something so I made sure I had enough cash. No lunch. (
