why oh why do we as soon as we have time off a long weekend do we spend it working on the house - garden we must be mad

Why do ppl say they will meet and not turn up whats the point of asking to meet if they have no intension of showing up

 Chores are part of being adult, sad but true.. I have learned to not be a neat freak, futile battle with 3 cats and 1 dog. So house is clean instead of super squeaky clean.
