Here's A Question

I've stopped to get a handle on this particular one right now. Some changes under way!

I'm in a "Meh" mood right now. Not depressed, not happy. Though I have had random moments of happiness lasting weeks long at a time. As MnSweet said: content. That's probably more of what I've been feeling. But after depression that's practically giddy.

I'm glad for you. I think you have perhaps found the key to whatever "happiness" really is. I do know it comes from inside one and doesn't depend on others, who can't make us "happy." I think my main issue right now is a lack of goals. I'm at that point in my life where I have accomplished most of the goals I used to have. What remains unaccomplished is likely no longer within the realm of possibility. Some adjustment is in order.

I, too, have some random moments of happiness, but mine are of much shorter duration. I know depression can be a struggle and a feeling of contentment is so much better than the blackness of depression. I don't think I'm depressed, but just a bit adrift at them moment.

I'm retired as sell and I've let myself do something I swore I would never do: get into a rut. Time to break out of that crap.

I'm happy with some things in my life, others, not quite so much. Of course, that means there's room for improvement, right?

I think most of us fall into that space between unhappy and happy. We're happy with some things and not so much with others.
