Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It has been brought to my attention that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and so I am helping to spreak the work about that.

As we all know the first line of defense against breast cancer is routine manual palpation of each breast in turn, taking note of any changes in the consistency of the breast and of any lumps. It must be emphasized that such examination must be routine in order to develop an understanding of the normal state of each breast. In that way, lumps especially may be found. The presentation of lumps is a cause for alarm and requires further medical evaluation.

In the spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and for any who might be interested in such a service, I am offering my breast palpation service free of charge for the duration of October. Those interested may wish to contact me here on Senior Sizzle and I will be happy to make a breast palpation house call.
