It IS a very precarious world nowadays....and the science is learning new things each day. You re right...the unpopular decisions are made for the good of the whole....not just a few. Ive said all along that those that choose to not be vaxxed should sign a medical waiver. It seems unfair that they take medical resources away from someone who plays by the rules. I like your countries proposal better......make em pay for those resources. There has been controversy in the US surrounding those docs that refuse treatment to those unvaxxed. It def is all very uncertain. I hope your friend is able to reconcile it all. At least you she is back in touch with you, where you both can be supported~

You aren't really free, you aren't really alive, if you're forced to get an ineffective jab every six months... The simple reality is that the jab doesn't work, and is more likely to make you sick and shorten your life span by damaging your heart - soccer players are dropping dead. c19 used to kill the very sick and the very old, but the jabs are killing the young and healthy. If you have more than three comorbidities, are over 84, and are in very poor health, you have something to worry about from c19. If none of those apply to you, it's a few days of bedrest.

At least you she is back in touch with you, where you both can be supported~ The jab doesn't do a goddamned thing against the virus or its mutations - it's a "leaky" jab that over time makes you more likely to catch c19. Doesn't stop you from catching it or spreading it... So, by your logic, if someone makes a decision about their health that you don't like, the state should punish them... So, how about fat people? They take up more resources, so should they be forced to sign a waiver? Drug users? How about swingers who catch an STI? Athletes who get injured? "Old" people seem to suck up a lot of medical and financial resources: what about them? Moreover, you're old enough to remember that when the gvt makes decisions "for the good of the people", it's rarely good for the people; FFS, WW2 - you would have been born when that was still something that people were trying to cope with the scars!

Get the booster.. It's half the dose of the first shots.. rh 1972 is full of shit. he's lying to you.The shot DO NOT make it more likely to catch coivd. They suppress the virus once you get it. So you will be less likely to die from it. Right now all across the world 85 to 90% of covid deaths are from idiots like rh that are unvaccinated are the ones dying. The vaccine just helps us fight off the virus. It doesn't cure us from getting it like Smallpox or polio did. But it just makes us more able to fight off the worst of it.
