I remember when a Hurricane came along
one year and made a horrible mess out of
my properties at the beach, I was down
there by myself trying to do what I could
to shape up and clean up. As I walked across
the yard from one house to the other, a young
girl who's mother had dropped her off several
houses down the street was handing out stems
of flowers. She said her mother said, she
could not help, but she could at least brighten
the day with at least one flower.

Very touching move on the part of this mother,
as she at some point must have been there and
so overwhelmed that the smallest gesture of
kindess shocked her back to reality, that others
do care.
