As my time in Memphis winds down, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has inspired me, indulged me, excited me, teased me, and pleased me. Thanks for making the trip up here and spending time with me. Whatever else we may have done, whatever kind of fun we may or may not have had, I think my absolute favorite moment, besides the heavy breathing, mind swirling, head exploding one, is that first moment when the barriers are broken down. Sitting on the couch, shooting the breeze, wondering who is going to make the first move, to get things started.

That first kiss, usually chaste, but which makes the heart beat just a bit faster, and the blood race through your veins. That first delicious lick across the other person's lips, that evil laugh of relief you feel bubbling up in your throat, that longing that makes you want to beg for more. With luck, it's followed by another one, hopefully less tentative than the first. And another, until lips part and tongues dance together. Until a bead of sweat forms on your forehead and your vision begins to blur as the desire takes hold. The lust, the need you feel as your breath catches in your throat, the sense of longing and want and need. Until there are no longer two people, just one bound together, exploring, wanting, wondering....
