I think that there is a lot of stress and worry in the world today. I think a lot of it regards women and desirability. People are worried they don't look good, or as good as they used to. They try to live up to possibly impossible standards. People judge, or are judged, or feel judged. But I am here to tell you, if you are a BBW or an older woman, and you don't feel you are appreciated, things aren't so bad.
Try being an old man. Or a fat man. Or both. That's where the lack of appreciation sets in. And I can prove it.
How often do you hear things like "She's got her granny panties on" or "Put on your big girl pants"? I contend if your underwear is part of the popular vernacular, then you have nothing to worry about.
But take old/fat men. When was the last time you heard ANYONE talk about their underwear. That's right....never! It's possibly one of the last taboos, one so taboo, that we don't even classify it as taboo.
Go ahead. Try to start a conversation about big man underwear. Or old man underwear. You'll get a weird look and a dismissal. "Why would you say something like that?" you will be asked.
So people of the world, change your perspective and realize that maybe we all don't have it so bad.
