Received this after my new lover got back from her vacation:

"Thanks for your messages while I was away. Unfortunately, I do have write the “dear Jane”, I thought about it a lot on my trip... the reason I reached out anyone that night, who happened be you, was the residual of a whole night awake and drinking. I need get a grip on my life and that’s going require focus. I appreciate you, you’re very sweet, and I’m glad have had the experience with you."

 I am sorry this happened to you. At least she did tell you, unlike my lover just up and left me hanging with out a word.
