ATTENDING A SEX PARTY   Following on from three previous posts, ORGANISING A SEX PARTY, PREPARING A SEX PARTY and HOSTING A SEX PARTY, this post is about enjoying a sex party. Party guests have now arrived. There would usually be about 15 couples attending our parties. About 10 couples would have attended one of our parties before. As a host, I always made sure I’d introduce the 'newbie' couples to as many people as possible and I would spend time chatting to them. Soon after the start of the party, many women would change their clothes into party outfits - sexy dresses, skirts, basques, camisoles or lingerie. Men would just dress casual and stay casual until they took their clothes off to have sex! I would wear a T-shirt, jeans and mesh underwear. There was never much point wearing too many clothes! After a couple of hours of chatting, drinking and nibbling on food, the mood of the party would gradually change. Conversations turned to sex. We were all swingers so swinging was often talked about. Talking and bantering turned to flirting and teasing. People would increasingly leave the kitchen and lounge area and go to the two bedrooms to have sex as twosomes, threesomes, foursomes or moresomes. We always insisted that doors of all rooms (except the bathroom!) remained open to make it inclusive and inviting. As a couple, we used to swing with other couples and we would always have sex in the same room. At sex parties, particularly, at parties we hosted, we would often get separated. We talked about this and agreed that at parties we could play together or separately. At parties, I never acted in a predatory but often acted in an opportunistic way. At a few parties, I had no sex. At most parties, I would have sex with two or three women. At one party, I had sex with five women! Having sex at a party was always very intense as you were surrounded with the sights and sounds of other people having sex. Some people just liked watching others having sex, especially if there were orgy-like scenes involving many people. I was never a watcher - it was far too frustrating just to spectate and not perform! Our parties would end when the last couple left. A few couples would stay overnight and leave after breakfast and maybe even more sex! Above and below are photos of what you would have seen at our parties - they’re not actual photos from our parties! We didn’t allow anyone to take photos or make videos at our parties. Because of the number of people at the party, it was easy to avoid people if you didn’t like them, just like at any parties. We set up separate play areas (ie bedrooms) and non-play areas (ie kitchen and lounge) to reduce any pressure that people may have felt to have sex with other people, though sex sometimes took place in the kitchen and lounge. Though I didn’t count, about three-quarters of couples had sex (either with other couples or with themselves) with one-quarter not having sex at a party. We probably held about 15 parties and we had very few incidents. People often left their underwear behind after they left but no one had any their possessions stolen. The few incidents we had were invariably alcohol-related and usually involved a couple having an argument, a bit like any other party! Our parties weren’t free-for-alls where people could expect sex with anyone. No meant no! Our sex parties were just like any other parties but with the option of having sex. What have been the best and worst parties you’ve been to? What have been the best and worst parties you’ve hosted? Without doubt the best parties I’ve attended and hosted were sex parties. The worst parties I’ve attended and hosted have been New Year’s Eve parties, mainly because there were too few people pretending to be happy until after midnight while wishing they were somewhere else!         |

The best party I have ever been to was a 21st party years ago....I got so drunk I stripped on top of a table lol....I still laugh when I think of it....the worst were the obligatory Christmas day parties at my parents in law's house.  You'd have to ask my guests what the best and worst parties I ever hosted were...but I did really enjoy the one I hosted for the millenium.  ~~Anais Nin~~

What have been the best and worst parties you’ve been to? All seemed to be fun. Except a couple times a couple or two would get into an argument. Guess they did not think it through about the all genders that would be naked What have been the best and worst parties you’ve hosted? The best was actually an invitation only for a lesbian couple that wanted to experiment with guys and of course girls, it was a lot of fun and they went t on and would on occasion have their own parties. The worst was one after a meet and greet in a bar. Seems every one was sloppy drunk. A lot of limp ones that night

The best party I ever went to was a friend's 18th birthday party in 1992 and was treated with warmth and respect by everyone and we all really enjoyed eachother's company and I stayed over. The worst party I ever went to was a "girlfriend's" 16th birthday party in 1982 where I got rolling drunk, passed out, got urinated on whilst dead to the world (close to unconscious) and seriously bashed by 3 bigger, older thugs from the party the next morning. I'm yet to ever host a party but would like to sometime, maybe even a sex party.

What have been the best and worst parties you've been to? There are no bests, maybe my wedding reception was both. Every party at his parent's or his brother's house was dreaded. It also meant I'd be forced to attend and ignore my family's celebrations. We tried for awhile to do both, but eventually I just gave in and gave up. I reasoned, his parents were old and it was our obligation to be with them. It was 1998 or 1999 when we ran away from home and didn't return until recently. We didn't have any family celebrations while away, but we didn't have to split ourselves in two trying to please everyone. We did try to come home for holidays but after a time we'd given up, blaming the eight hour drive, traffic around Baltimore and Washington and having no time off from work to manage the travel. My 21st birthday was memorable for being observed without me. This was my first birthday with my boyfriend, it was also, unfortunately his mother's birthday too. That was 1979. I didn't have my own birthday again until 2011. On my 21st birthday, my boyfriend promised to get me home on time to celebrate with my family, he had to see his mother first. After we were at his mother's, no amount of pouting or evil looks jogged his memory. His mother eventually noticed and remarked that I looked as though I wanted to be somewhere else. I told her that I did want to be at my sister's where everyone was gathering after church to celebrate my birthday. By the time we got to Josie's everyone was gone and there was half a birthday cake left. Yup, that had to be the worst party ever. I have a lot of sad memories, and this one is very near the top of the list. Prior to all of this, I helped him pick out a gift at the jewelry store, that I hoped was really for me, it wasn't and I eventually received a card after the fact. You see, I can't really complain about my life. He hasn't changed, he's always been this way. I should have known better and I can't expect anything better now. What have been the best and worst parties you've hosted? I don't know, I hope there wasn't an awful one, they were very few. A Halloween costume party for my daughter's birthday may be one of the best ones. Her birthday is very near Christmas, so we moved it one year. It was fun to see the little ones dressed up, we even had dry ice for effect.
