HOSTING A SEX PARTY   Following on from two previous posts, ORGANISING A SEX PARTY and PREPARING A SEX PARTY, this post is about hosting a sex party. The apartment has now been set up for the party. About an hour before the party was due to start, I’d have a long soak in a bath and make sure I’m squeaky clean for the party. Every bit of my body, including my belly button, got a good clean. After a bath, I even brushed my teeth and had a shave. Then, I’d get dressed. I always dressed with three items of clothing - a T-shirt, jeans and mesh underwear. I prefer to call it mesh rather than fishnet! Now clean and dressed, I’d go downstairs to finish off the final touches - lights dimmed, curtains and blinds closed, and music played. Ambient, dance and disco music was always played. After these final touches, it was all about waiting for people to arrive for the party. As host, you’d do introductions, take people’s coats and bags, sort our drinks and food and talk to people, especially those who don’t know many people at the party. But you could never fully relax, or rather you couldn’t take your clothes off, until the last couple arrived. But you’d never know who the last couple to arrive were. There’d always be a few couples who would say they were coming but never came to the party without letting you know. Couples were asked to arrive by 8pm, but 9pm was always the deadline when I stopped being the host and opened the door. This was the time when the party started for me. Our sex parties were always like ‘normal’ parties up to about 10pm; people drank, ate and chatted in the kitchen. As Jona Lewie sang, “You'll always find me in the kitchen at parties”. But at around 10pm the atmosphere usually changed and became sexually charged. In parties past, there was a hot tub - a great way to get some people’s clothes off and start things off! But even without a hot tub, there was a time when the party took off. One thing about going to a sex party is that sex is on the agenda as a topic for conversation, which never meant everyone wants sex with each other. It was liberating that conversations can be free to include sex. One big advantage of hosting a sex party, or any party, is that everyone will talk to you. It was all about making people feel comfortable as possible, even if you’re a twat! When you’re a guest, sometimes it’s a struggle to get a conversation, particularly if you’re well down the guest list, like a neighbour. Neighbours were informed of our parties but never invited! For most of my adult life home was a house with an open plan downstairs....so you were never far from the kitchen. I never relaxed if I was hosting the party. Not much into mesh on men...sorry.  ~~Anais Nin~~

Has the kitchen generally been the centre of parties you’ve hosted? The ones I have been to were in Hotels, so no kitchen. Is there a time when you host a party that you stop being the host and relax? The times I assisted as host, would be the very end of the party before I could relax Do you think fishnet/mesh is okay for men to wear? My preference is no, if not commando, boxer briefs

I never get a chance to rest 'til everyone leaves and after I clean up! Do you think fishnet/mesh is okay for men to wear? I don't know, because I don't own any mesh!

Only if I get her to host! Do you think fishnet/mesh is okay for men to wear? I think it's too lacy for me so I would not wear them!

...sorry..fishnet is not cool for men......gigolos maybe...but the rest of us...no... also..I love the kitchen for the centre of activity...and that is usually where the sex happens,... Blue

My mesh underwear were always removed before I had sex. My problem was always finding my underwear the morning after!

I have never hosted a party... Maybe one day, if I ever have a nice place to invite people to and enough people to invite. I rarely have more than a single guest and although we "party", I prefer to keep the kitchen for preparing and cooking foods. Mesh can look good on men but they need a hot physique to really do it credit.

Has the kitchen generally been the centre of parties you've hosted? usually Is there a time when you host a party that you stop being the host and relax? not really, but then we no longer have parties, in Virginia, it was mainly just us and it's the same story in New Jersey, so we haven't really had a party since 1999, even Mandi's wedding, Mike's mother pulled that one together. Do you think fishnet/mesh is okay for men to wear? Men seem to like it. Tom bought a new pair recently. He likes the skimpy undies, I don't mind either way.
