Goodbye 2012..

Year 2012 is coming to an end. So much things had happened. First thing first. Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I supposed everyone are in holiday mood after Christmas, waiting to usher in the new year.

However I am not, we had to immerse ourselves straight into work. I had work till 11pm again on one night and 830pm on Fri because I was dead beat and also that everyone left for their own dinner plans though the amount of work to do was pile high. I am feeling burnt out by the work and the deadline that kept being pushed back. Coming Sat we have to come in to rush for the deadline and it is something that I dislike. Means I will have to forgo my weekend swim and feeling depressed about working on Sat.

A small good thing was that I managed to catch up with SOC again on Boxing day. I wasn't in the mood to work late immediately after Christmas so I ran off. Had enjoyed his company that evening though it was a short few hours, knowing that I had to work late the next day.

Guess when stress and frustration gets to me. I get into a spending and impulsive mode. I yet to swipe big amount into my card however I did manage to put down a booking for a scooter. Something that I been delaying for a while. So I look forward to having my own transport and hopefully get a little more rest and time to myself without having to spend hours on the public transport.

Hope everyone is having a good time ushering in the new year. And I off to bed to nurse my dark eye circles and prepare for the coming week of work battle.

 I hate it when work turns into shit.... But still I'll stick to my belief - I'll take actions at all I can than purely complaining alone.... So I admit, I'm still struggling and trying in a way?

Personally despite being crowded, I've always thought public transport is a good and convenient way to go especially for daily routine travels..... Driving or riding of your own could sometimes be very frustrating and taxing... Especially when you're stuck in a traffic jam.... Or you're trying to get a parking space in a packed place.... Or when you're too tired either at too early an hour of the day or too late am hour of the day....... Not to throw a wet blanket, but just my personal opinion? Good thing is you'll have the freedom... Of where and when to travel....

Anyway... A toss to a brighter tomorrow in this new year to come...?
