Foul mood..

Foul mood.. Some idiotic boys threw a big ball of sea mud at me and hit the back of my knee yesterday evening while strolling back to the hotel on the beach. I had to endure the mud patch on my knee as I continued to stroll back to the hotel, ignoring the boys. The force was so great that it left a big red patch after I washed off at the hotel tap. Then a lousy day at work today. I don't like one of my colleagues and her style of working. And she pocketed my lunch receipt for her own claims! I believed there will be more clashes with her in future. Should I tell my OM, risk being view as a nitpicker and risk getting blacklisted or keep quiet and continued to be torment by her.. I am a new person in the company afterall.

Suggest you tolerate her nonsense for now,merely trying to piss you off. Pocketing your lunch claims only shows a side of her character,which may work in your favour in future. Bear with her annoyance for now,however bear this in mind,when the tides are turned,be certain to pounce at the opportunity and return the same courtesy to her. Chance favours the brave.  Living,as it should be

no biggie, lady. seriously, unless its entertainment lunch, how much does a personal lunch cost? why risk it for petty cash? right? save your colours for a bigger parade I say  sometimes going head-on isn't the best option. So, give it a thought when you cool down. decisions made when you are emotional typically are costly.

Yup yup, agree with all the others. Just keep this information tucked away. It may be a good idea to start collecting evidences of her little misdemeanors for a day that you can use.

Sounds like an awful day. I guess I will be the one to disagree with the rest of the group. This is only what I would do and have done so before in these types of situations. Whoever did this either doesn't like you or is testing you to see what they can get away with. They may be trying to put you in your place in their hierarchy of co-workers. There is a right way and a wrong aggressive way to do things in a work environment. I would stay away from being aggressive and gently put them on the spot next time something like this happens. Not doing so will open you up for more abuse and open the doors to others doing the same thing. By acting on what is right and wrong you will show that you can deal with these situations in a professional manner. Hope you have a better day. J

For me, my meals allowance is a measly 30rm a day, no receipts needed. While for her because she is from europe, she get 40euros daily allowance and need receipts for her every meal. Thus pocket my receipt to claim for more money. The rest of my colleagues are great people except her. I hope the HQ drag her back soon. She is acting like a boss here, eating snake and getting a higher pay for being here. I dont wish to throw in towel because of her.

hang in there... since u're new, its normal u have to endure if u really wish to keep ur job.. furthermore, you wont be working with her for long right?? if u are, like what the others say, keep your cool, for now.. patience is a virtue Why Buy a Book, When there's a Library....

Good for you not wanting to quit yet.Its not a good time at the moment to quit anyway,and having her ruin your day, isn't nice of her but then in this world there is a whole lot of garbage out there,and not worth the energy.

ah well mud... you cant do anything much and regarding the ang moh getting more pay and then nicking off your receipts just shows a cheap character. Next time since without receipt itself you get 30 rm refunded. You jus tdon't take the receipt.. this way there won't be a need to kill the snake.. and wait for the moment that you can pounce back on her..for I believe in wat "good times" said earlier.. more leeway means she will keep bossing on you.. so stay patient and wait for the right time life will be good dear!! another day ..another smart.. just remember to put wear your smile

Dont have to fight with her... and you just did the right thing. I will be in Pg soon and I can ta pau lunch for you, something nice and different from your daily routine there. Take care...350
