A kiss is just a kiss? Sure When I was a , everyone said that kissing just comes naturally, yes it does, you pucker up and away you go. Personally, I’m not sure how exciting that is, though I’m sure for some people, it is a dream come true. There are so many types of kisses and so much that makes them memorable or not! The chaste kiss ‒ lip to lip, eyes open, lips closed. The vacuum cleaner job ‒ c’mon, surely I don’t really need to describe that delight do I?? The sexy gentle kiss, starts slow, gentle, involves a hand in the hair, or a light finger down the neck, mmm makes me shiver to think of it. Of course lots of other things go into making a kiss a worthwhile kiss. It seems that someone sticking their tongue down your throat is somehow appealing, but surely that should come when you have already totally explored the face and the lips beneath yours, got the heads at the right angle and worked out where all those arms go, lol. Garlic breath is fine if you have both eaten the same type of food, but otherwise, not too pleasant. Smelly breath has to be a turnoff, and how do you not know if your breath stinks? So help me out here, is it better to kiss with eyes open or eyes closed. I find it non passionate to kiss with eyes open, wonder what it is you are watching for? The visual has to detract from the sensory ‒ doesn’t it? |

Eyes closed allows other four sense to enhance themselves to compensate for the distraction of looking around, unless of course it is open eyes for both gazing deeply into each other's soul. I like em closed more than open.

Even though the eyes are the windows to the soul, they are also the cameras to the brain. I believe that with the eyes open, your brain is not concentrating on the moment and the physical, as well as the emotional, feelings that are going on. As sum1spcl says, with your eyes closed, your other senses will compensate and your feelings, especially touch and taste, will become more sensitive. Those are my feelings about this situation anyway. LOL.

Mmmmmmmmm Skin So Soft; The perfect kiss can be compared to all the perfect grains of sand that make our perfect beaches (before BP), or the perfect trees that make the perfect forests. I could explain what the greatest kiss was for me but I'm sure other readers would disagree and say theirs is far greater then mine. But, just to wet your appetite mine began only after more then 30 seconds of looking into my former lovers eyes and seeing that she was as hesitant as I and when we both mutually chanced it, WOW

I have read the responses from your topic and am now wondering what was it that inspired you to seek others answers to a perfect kiss. Every kiss that comes not preplanned should be added to the list of perfect kisses. if the kiss is spontaneous, what is the importance as to whether it shoots off fireworks, or makes you dizzy,if it is a kiss from the heart and not from the mind, then what could be more perfect then that. I would like to discuss this topic with you in person over a coffee and who knows, if we put our heads together, we may come up with a far clearer idea of what one is. 7countryman7

Avec les yeux fermés, cherie. That's my vote. Eyes open maybe for a quick glance. One's too close anyway, makes you go x-eyed. Better to close the eyes, a kiss is a sensation to be felt, not seen.

I naturally kiss with my eyes closed - I think it allows me to concentrate more on the emotion and the sensations coming through my lips and tongue. I am very oral, and kissing is one of the most intimate things we do.

A kiss is just a kiss if there is no electricity that sparks both kissers. Like kissing your child or mother! Open eyes could never create any passion in a kiss when you are experiencing the Kiss with a partner you are attracted to. You get a deeper inner connection with your eyes closed because you are not allowing your visual senses to distract you.

Hi, I like your thoughts, you should expand upon them, I wrote a snippet awhile back about kissing. Personally I think it is one of the best activities ever invented. Check out my blog urluvseeker. I was 15, she was 17. We had been going together for a few months but all of a sudden she said that she wasn't happy with how things were going and was thinking of breaking up. Why? Because I had never learned how to "French kiss". It is said that ignorance can be cured by education and/or experience but stupid is forever.{br] Stupid I am NOT!  We got busy with her teaching and our practicing. I'm a bit more experienced now.

Interesting analysis of the kiss. I find the kiss the most erotic gateway to sexual seduction and the anticipation of the kiss is such a delight. You see in movies where there is about to be a kiss and something disturbs that moment but the nearness of the lips, the eyes slightly closed, that is the moment. Then there is the first touch of the lips when they connect. That is the best moment and I wish it could be savoured, but alas the lips have touched like an electrical charge. The thing to do I feel, is retract the lips for a moment and reconnect with the same delicate touch. saying all that and have kissed many times I find the eyes closed works the best as you are focused and not distracted, also your sense of touch is somewhat highlighted with your eyes closed.

I would say it is in the mind. Kiss with eyes closed is a passion or a thought that is personal and can be shared. Kissing with eyes open is passion directly shared with the person you are kissing. Emotion and pleasure is the journey and it is different for everybody.
