Sorry to hear that. Really hope this all doesn't last to long. Suppose you could still use your teeth, best check with the Doctor first though. Makes you really wonder about the Medical profession these days, doesn't it ?

I know just how you feel. I had an IV needle taped in the back of each had for 84 hours, There are a lot of things you cannot do!. Get a drink and get a book (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

They most likely expect you to relax for a while and not do a great deal. Then later (at least 2 hours) you can use your left arm as needed, but nothing strenuous with the right, until that IV needle is removed. Makes life challenging! Pagan  Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!

I had my bloods done a few days ago. I still have the bruise on my arm!

Other than hospital food what do you need to lift that is heavy? LOL IV's are no fun at all. When I had an IV they told me that I needed to keep the area dry and that I needed to take a shower. How exactly do you do that when you are carrying around an IV bottle?    The perversity of the universe is unbounded.

I can't understand why they don't realize that you need to go out and lift heavy items right away after any medical procedure. You'd think the researchers would have come up with a decent work-around for that by now.
