I Love That Old Time Rock And Roll Morning folks  Happy Monday! What's that? Another blog? So soon? lol Yep  Must be your lucky day I guess.... That's what happens when your muse shows up unexpectedly Either that or I'm putting off starting work  So what's today's topic? Ummmm....I don't really have one.... There is so much I'd like to say, but it's not really appropriate lol Yes folks, there are still some things that don't belong on a public forum such as this lol I DO have a filter.... An overactive one sometimes actually lol I'm not a big fan of social media, not that there's anything wrong with it, just not a big fan myself lol Like most things invented by people, it's not the item itself that's at fault...just how people use it Dirty laundry belongs in the laundry hamper in my opinion One thing that always sticks in my head is "Once you hit send, you can't take it back" lol That applies to email as well as public media.... You can never say "I didn't say that" when it's written down lol I guess we're all still trying to figure it out, even after all these years I'm in an odd position I suppose.... I'm of that generation that remembers what it was like before computers, and the internet and social media.....but yet I was young enough to be dragged along with the wave.... To me technology is a tool to be utilized, not the be all and end all in itself And like all tools, it has to be treated with a modicum of respect It'll bite you if you're not careful  That being said, it is a wonderful thing Technology is responsible for some of my best memories and experiences Wouldn't change it for the world Later folks "A full blown basket of hash browns with a steaming cup of 'WTF?" on the side" Enter my Lair: spudsy1000 |

I don't really use social media that much, makes me wonder and angry about humanity when I go around looking at the things they do on fb and other things, is more, I even have my fb private for family and very very close friends, not one else in there. I love the person to person interaction and I miss that. I love receiving a letter for xmas or valentines for that matter. now they send you an email even to broke off a relationship. I have a friend that her bf sent her a text to broke it off after over a year. that is so lame. I miss the old days. I am a romantic person. and technology has no heart and is cold and brutal if not use appropriately.

I completely agree. Dirty laundry goes in the hamper...not out in public view. I have a FB page too but am rarely on there. Friends will leave a message on there, then call me to tell me. So what's the point I say? You obviously should have just called to begin with. Biting??? Where?? *looks around*
