The Windy City  Well my friend 'Lori' and her subbies 'Alice' and 'Dixie' along with a couple of other friends are all headed to Chicago as we speak, for a weekend full of fun and bondage at ShibariCon 2012. ShibariCon bills itself as: "The world's premier international pansexual annual rope bondage educational conference." It IS huge and it ain't cheap. They do get bondage experts from around the world and it's basically a giant BDSM 'blogger bash' with a lot of educational stuff included... From all the stories I've heard over the past few years, it SHOULD be fun  Shibari for those of you who don't know, is really an art form perfected by the Japanese. Of course, who else eh? Lori, Dixie and Alice drove up last night. Lori is actually working at the conference this year. (This is the 5th straight ShibariCon she's attended) She has two presentations she's doing, both related to<b> suspension </font></b>techniques which really IS her 'specialty' and she'll be helping out around the conference at various other classes and presentations. Because she's actually working the conference, she get's in free. LOL They all stopped by my house last night on the way AND to make one final attempt at getting both 'Mona' and I to join them. Nope, not going... It's Memorial Day weekend and there's a little race going on here in Indy called the 500.. I ain't gonna nowhere Besides, 'Mona' and I are going to the 500 Parade tomorrow with her sister and brother in-law who've come down from Michigan for the race. THAT should be interesting considering that her sister is JUST like 'Mona' except my age... Get my drift?? LOL I met her sister at the wedding back on St. Patricks day and well, to tell the truth, Ol Tazzerman fell in lust for her the instant I met her AND I still have visions of getting BOTH of them into the PlayPen® at the same time. Bawhahah It will never happen but hey, a guy can dream can't he? LOL Anyway, they're all pumped/psyched to be there and I KNOW they'll have a great time. Maybe next year we'll join in. -tm |
