Milestones/ Life Markers Things like oh say : Turning 13 - You're not a anymore you're a ( with acne, raging hormones and the like ) Wu-hoo !!! Turning 16 - You can legally drive now, maybe. Turning 18 - You are NOW and Adult there kiddo & can legally drink in many places ( also get drafted into the army, vote in elections, etc. ) and pay your fair share in taxes. Turning 21 - You've hit the BIG ONE now. There's nothing that you can't do anywhere in the world. Wedding Anniversaries High School Graduation & Reunion Years. Now as I sit here on the evening/morning of another Birthday, I'm reflecting back on life and realizing that it has been just over 25 years since I graduated High School now, 20+ years in a relationship and soon will be 10 year anniversary at work. But really who gives a shit? They're just numbers right like turning 44. But I do wonder what some of my friends from Highschool are doing with themselves. I haven't seen most of them in 25 years are they fat, bald & divorced or are they living the good life? Kinda curious. But most likely never know as our school never had a Reunion. Well they did have something in 1999 for everyperson who had ever graduated from the school But I mean really. So I have my 10 friends that I still keep in touch with from school and hear about other people that I know through them sometimes. But what about the other 400+ people in our Grad Class, not to mention the people in the following class that I knew. What are they doing now? How about you, do you keep in touch with a lot of people from your school days? Had a Class Reunion - memorable or otherwise? Had a second chance to make a move on the Head Cheerleader/ Captian of the Basketball/ Football team that you wanted to in school but just never did? Aahh, memories. They are nice to have, but dangerous to your health in taken in large doses. It's nice to reminice but I think I'll stay in today Thanks & leave the what ifs to somebody else. I hear my bed calling, so to all a good night. And he lay his finger to his nose & up the basement stairs he rose, etc., etc, etc. |

I didn't go to the two reunions my grad class had. I do keep in touch with a couple of people yes. There is one guy I still think about. He wasn't a jock, but he was hot. I am told he is an alcoholic and never married. Smile, it just might make someone's day!
