Can't we all be friends?

Can't we all be friends?   What is the deal nowadays? I mean must we be petty? Childish? Wow... I thought the drama would be over once I got out of high school! It seems that drama follows you everywhere in life. School, work, in your social life. Why is that? I mean I know there are those people that "live" for the drama. But....man it gets old after awhile. Like now for instance. I am in a happy relationship with curlyourtoes69. Ever since I "announced" this to my "friends"...wow! It all went to hell in a handbasket. Some of my "friends" completely dropped me. People that I used to talk to on a daily basis even. I know we all have busy lives. ..work...our own social life. But to just drop someone suddenly....that seems a little odd. I mean one day we are sharing laughs on the bookface, the next I realize I am no longer your friend. We share a dirty text, the next not a peep. So tell me....is this something that you yourself have done to a "friend"? If so why? Or have you had this done to you? How did you feel? The way I look at it is this.....if you are my friend...you will be there for me. You will be happy for me. You will want to see me happy. I know for a fact that my guy has female friends. Ok, so what. They text, they talk, they laugh back and forth on bookface. I have no problem, it is called trust. That is what it is all about. Yet....this kind of drama goes on. Is it just a woman thing? Or does it happen to guys as well? Don't know....just curiosity. These are the things that come into my mind. That and sex. And boobs. And snuggling. And porn. And now McDonalds....thanks to some chickie and her blogs!  Oh...did I mention that the friends that dropped me were all guys? Does that make a difference?    |

Funny thing is....we had never done anything sexual. I mean other than hang out, be "the date" at the last minute for each other. We were just friends..... I miss my friends. Cuz sometimes we need someone to talk to.

Baby I have not dropped you on bookface or here and have been with ya since we first started blogging together and you have been there for me as well! I am happy for you and I would hope the same in return and I have also noticed a change in how people have reacted towards me since I've been in my current relationship too!! I can see Norrin's point of view on wanting to give you some space there so the relationship can develop without any unwanted distractions. I'm really happy that it is going great for you there Baby, you more than deserve it.
