Ok....so teach me!

Ok...so I am a single mom. So up until recently most of my meals that I cooked came out of a box. Ok so I didn't know how to do alot of things. But I am learning. Kinda....with the help of friends.

But today while I am out and about....getting back into my minivan.. I notice that my rear tire is low. Um...yeah. I don't know how to air up a tire.

Picturing it now.....Baby pulls into the local gas station. She pulls over to the air machine. Baby undoes the air valve. Then she pushes the little button on the machine. Hooks it up to her tire and presto......lets all the air out of her tire.

No....that isn't what happened but I can see it happening. And here I was telling my man on the phone and he kinda laughs.....I am sorry. I admit I don't know how to air up a tire. I wasn't joking. I was really worried that I would deflate my tire. Hell I did try and to me it doesn't look any different than when I started...still low.

So I think I will look into a car mechanics class for beginners. Unless there are any really hot guys out there that want to teach baby how to do basic car care......

One time with the help of my oldest son and a faulty air hose, I did deflate my tire. Made me so mad! I changed it. Went to another gas station with a functioning air hose and finally figured it out. I no longer trust that kid to help with mechanical things, LOL. Good thing tho, is that I finally learned how to air up my own tire.

Well I think I am going to go to a different air pump (one that has a guage on it) and try again!!!!!

When you buy your tires, most places will check and adjust tire pressures for free. There's sort of a DIY garage in MWC, I'd bet the "on site" guys wouldn't mind helping you. Garages at Vo-Techs are another option for free or really cheap advice/assistance. Of course I have a compressor at my house!
