Feeling better!

Ok, I started off dreading Christmas day. Not the start of the day, just the rest of the day!

For those who know me, you know I am a single mom and mini me is my life! And being a single mom....I have to share her sometimes. Christmas day was that day.

Christmas morning dawned bright and warm....mini me woke up early and I had told her she could wake me up when she woke....not hard to do since when does she sleep in her own room! Of course presents were tops on her list...She loved the presents....of course she got her hippo (don't ask) and I think one thing she loved the most.... NYC firefighters calendar (don't tell Cowboy).

Then it was time to take her to her dads....I knew I wouldn't make it far before the tears rolled, not even out of the driveway of the former in-laws. Came home and put on the warm flannel pjs and fixed a very strong drink.... I figured I would take the cowards way out and DRINK Christmas away! So o.j. and everclear in hand....tear jerker movie on the t.v. and let it begin....

Of course messenger pops up a message. I check and it is a very dear friend who I care deeply for....He invites me to come see him, he doesn't want to be alone on Christmas either. I asked if he was joking....NOPE! So, what does the baby do? Pulls on clothes, gases up car and hits the turnpike! We spent a great day together, talking...snuggling and listening to music. And then he fixed me breakfast....It is so nice when a guy knows how to cook and egg perfectly~ More snuggles on the couch and then I headed for home.

I am very appreciative to my good buddy....and he knows I care. I understand where he stands, and he has been nothing but honest. I will always be there....as a friend. So if you read this, yes YOU! I understand and anytime you want to change things you know how to call me, text me, email me, and message me....and Kitty girl loves me!
