One Eyed Sooty

One Eyed Sooty Look what i found!! ...ok ok i'll admit it, yes i had a teddy as a happy now? ...lol... his name is Sooty! He's been missing in action for 28 years! and by the looks of him he's carrying a few battle scars or war wounds... Think he's been in a fight with either Action Man - Barbie's Ken - or my sisters Cabbage Patch Doll! as he's looking a bit the worse for wear!...  He has a 1 inch gash to the side of his neck, a 2 inch gash to the back of his head, and some of his stuffing is missing  but he is still alive!  I found him in the loft while looking for Christmas decorations, looks like i'll be getting a good nights sleep tonight!  Did you have a favourite toy - teddy growing up?  |

Yup, found him after many years, one eye, no nose, then lost him in the fire a few years ago... ~jeff

i was probably only 3-4 when i had this teddy i am sure i had grown out of him by 6! so maybe he has been missing 30 years! i even slept last night WOW!

Oh nooo! Sew him back up now I did have a box full of old teddies in the loft.. but then I moved and they had to be sacrificed I still have She-ra though [post 3969793]

I had a black and white teddy I named "Pandy" while my brother had a blue bear named "Sniffer" LOL My daughter had this stuffed white platypus called "Google" and could not find hers recently (she is 24) so she ordered a new "used" one off E-bay! LOL Pull My Fucking Hair!

You betcha I did. I have had this little brown bear since I was a new born. He has been with me for every part of my journey through life. Right now he is on my dresser watching over me. Cheryl

LMAO you ever seen that advert uk tv? ....where they are sat around a dinner table having dinner, and the little boy goes to pinch one of his sisters chips? ...and she says "touch my chips - feel my fork!"?? touch my teddy feel my fork! lol

Hmmm.. I never had one special bear... but did give a knitted bear made for me by a friend to a niece, who dragged the bear around and sucked on it, til the wool was holey..I got an emergency call from my sister to 'order another damn bear!'...Made me smile...and yes I got my friend to knit another bear. M x **welcome back to the world Sooty... ***I actually found my sister's cabbage patch doll in time for her 21st birthday, I introduced her to everyone by starting off by saying that a someone very special has made an appearance tonight..blah blah blah... and everyone was looking around to see who I meant..and then I introduced 'Stacey Analiese'...my sister was so happy..and embarrassed, she cried.... I am such a good big sister..
