Memories... our most prized possessions... what makes us who we are... what makes us smile... or cry.

Memories... a part of our past. Be it scribbled notes or yellowed photographs. Feelings felt or tastes savored... Sounds of laughter or songs we sang... Hands that touched us... Lips that kissed us... Eyes that looked right through us... captured our souls...

 Well worded. For me it is the unexpected, being out with the kids and being hit by a smell that takes me back to my childhood.Although there are a set of lips I remember also.

 Memories..some beautiful,some bittersweet,deep down they reside, for they are so much a part of me. These memories I carry with me,every one teaches and reminds me what life is really all about. Giving me inspiration to live my life to the fullest and enjoying the day and what it brings to me. Savoring the rich,bold and some of the more mellow and yet darker flavors that those memories has to offer.

Here's to making many more wonderful,beautiful memories. Hopefully I will get the chance to create some new ones with a few good friends!

 This touched me today - for my elderly mom is starting to lose her memory. She has to write everything down on a notepad, or it's gone five minutes later. Last week when I was visiting her, I would catch her sitting in her chair, clutching that notepad like it was a lifeline. She is lost, so lost, and there's nothing any of us can do....
