Bob Dylan's voice was never softer...

She came close to me... Rested her worried head on my shoulder. Softly. Tenderly. Letting a sigh escape as she did. I kissed her forehead. Told her everything would be alright. That it was just another storm. Just another cloudy sky... That the sun would shine through... just like it always does.

"Sleep now", my voice was as quiet as possible. I kissed her frowned forehead once more. And turned off the light.

I opened my eyes hours later. Found us in the exact same position. A ray of warm sunlight was seeping through the bedroom window. I turned my head and looked at her face. Eyes closed. Still resting on my shoulder... but this time with the faintest smile appearing on her lips.
