make me a memory... Make me a memory... I awoke to see her head on my shoulder. Her fine blond hair falling, her eyes still closed, her breathing peaceful and relaxed. In my ears the mellow sound of Grover Washington's saxophone still rang, the melody of 'Make me a memory', that sad samba, echoing again and again... A night had passed, a night of cuddling and hugging, of comforting words and knowing smiles, a night of sweet delight, a night free of any guilt. I saw the first light of day wash over the walls of this room, bathing them in warm colors... I looked down and saw our bodies intertwined, our feet touching, her knee between mine... I squeezed her shoulder gently, turned her to me. Our eyes met. Our lips just drew each other, soon melting into a languid kiss, our tongues finding each other, caressing and exploring at the same time... As my excitement grew, my nostrils grew wide open and took in as much air as possible. My head was filled with the scent of lavender and sandalwood... My eyes turned to the ceiling. I cherished the moment, my happiness becoming more evident... I faced her... "Make me a memory", I silently prayed, knowing my prayer had already been answered... ...  |
