I feel a strong responsibility to my two dogs to make sure they're able to get a little exercise during this summer when it's not over 100 outside.

Poor, Marisol is not a morning person the way I am... I've been getting up at 3 am and making coffee and breakfast, and then taking my dogs for their morning walk at "first light" at 5 am. I encourage M. to stay in bed, and when I return with the dogs about an hour later, I join her in bed, and the dogs are inside with us with the AC humming.

The benefits of being retired and not being a slave to a job with set hours, is glorious!! Just sayin'

Usually at ten or eleven...But I also take naps during the days since it's too hot outside to do much work in the open without AC..

 Great you can do this with your dogs. I think keeping them cool is main thing right now with all this heat. I run the AC for my pets too hugssssss V
