STRETCH LIMOUSINE

The above picture is of my beautiful little (50 pounds), Australian Dingo I rescued from a tumbled outhouse as a very young puppy. She's lived with me, and bossed me around now for 11 years too (like the White Ghost).

She and WGD love each other.

Stretch L. won't have anything to do with Marisol.

Stretch Limousine goes everywhere with me when I walk at night. She's wonderful for going ahead during the summer, and pointing out rattlesnakes to me. She's been bitten twice by horned sidewinder rattlesnakes, and recovered by her own bodily defenses without any problems.

Yeah, I'm a big fool for dogs..

You of all people, Maddy, know of course how much I love dogs. I don't think I could live without at least one of the sweet guys being around, for me to spoil, and talk to, late at night when M. is sleeping..

I had my bassett hound Luke for almost 17 years.he's passed on now some 3 yrs.he was a wonderful spoiled pup.
Do you miss him now? My dogs really, pretty much take care of themselves out here. My oldest dog, The one that lived the longest was named Pickles. She made it to almost 17 too.

I think if Stretch Limousine doesn't have any accidents and doesn't catch any weird microbes, she may make to 18 or even longer. She's always been the one with the most vitality.

I think you can tell the mark of a WONDERFUL person by the way the animals treat them.

Obviously, the dogs know you well.
That''s such a nice compliment, thank you Bob. I'm really fortunate to own this place with no neighbors around, and being retired I'm here almost 24/7...The dogs have had a chance to bond with me, and think I'm one of their pack...

Thank you smrtgirl, I try to pick names that suit their personalities/appearance. Sometimes when they're young and I've seen they're growing into a different persona, I change the name I use for them.. They always pick up the new name in a couple of days.

I remember last summer having this same weird problem with pictures.... I would put them at the top of my posts, and only about half the people reading the post would see the picture. My computer would show the pictures up. The entire picture thing became very frustrating when some other people on the site also started having the same problem,

Well, it's not frustrating to me anymore. Just one of the many little glitches on this site. You may have read the post before the picture came through the ether... I see it there, and I hope it's visible to other viewers...
