middle of America... middle of the road... I am prepared, yet again, for this 'reply' post to not get delivered. Change, this year, is a two headed coin. The litany of 'change' slogans is half a dozen deep and is coming from both sides. What I find intriguing, from a third party stance, is that the viewpoint of both sides is almost identical. FEAR. The 'other guy' is potentially EVIL... down right EVIL... or clearly WORSE... and in the words of Ralph Nader, espoused now by others... It is not the lesser of two Evils... it is the EVIL of two lessers. I won't make the case of the similarities or even how it is that THIS is all we get to choose from... (a slight variation on..."let them eat cake"... a Hostess Ding Dong or a Hostess Ho Ho... same ingredients.... different shape...) but I'll tell you this. The largest flexing of the sleepy muscle of Democracy was ignored. The calls about the 'bailout' were 100 to 1 AGAINST. So, it goes to the Senate (Unconstitutional) and gains weight... (one program added from the scraps on the floor was tendered by a Senator now dead three years....) and then Congress agrees... to 150 Billion more... THAT WE DON'T HAVE ...BY THE WAY ...and still NEITHER candidate will speak the words, that the "tsunami" that (out in the nick of time) Greenspan(dex) alluded to.... is hyper inflation, brought on (ask Mugabe) by a hormonally imbalanced money printing machine. This economy has been BELIED.... by every Presidency since 1980. (scan DJI and look at the graph) If you, the voter do not realize that it is in your self preservation, and not your self interest to disinter any Congressperson that voted for the Bailout Bill, then it is also on your head. I have very good friends, who are enamored with their choice for President, (BOTH SIDES) and yet, when queried about their Congressperson, feel that it is something that does not affect them. CONGRESS IS THE ACCOUNTANT OF AMERICA! Tax and Spend is how it is SUPPOSED to work. It's like EARN AND SPEND to the moronic work force! now, print and spend.... equals Inflation... and BOTH SIDES DO IT! This is where our Politics are TRULY BI-PARTISAN! I leave for later Fractional Reserve Banking... The DOLLAR is dying... Nixon gave it depleted Uranium (U283) and since OIL and The DOLLAR have been having a thing... when they split... we the people (read of a lesser gawd) are destitute. I know that you don't want to know this! But your 401K is down 30 to 40 per cent. You better start lookin at 1933 at the History of Gold. This "ONE TIME SHIFT OF WEALTH that has been mentioned is you gettin your head pinched like a pimple. Mexico did this in '95... and Canada Dollars are gaining buying power at the borders... WAKE UP, AMERICA! The DOLLAR is a FAiTH Based Initiative and membership is down... so.... CHANGE is offered by the two headed beast... (CHANGE...for a DOLLAR? or...change left over/??) I opt for a DIFFERENCE and if it be smaller I accept that. All I own has shrunk this month |

You're spot on -- well said. But, hey, if inflation merely doubles, our massive debt is cut in half! It's magic!

I allways read your blog my friend and allthough my english are poor try hard to understand your posts cause i find them really enlightening for our common way of thinking.....but i really wonder how can you wake up people which their only interest is to try to find ways of avoiding the truth....any kind of truth, personal, social or whatever.....and knowing human nature quite well with my poor mind of course....this really sometimes brings me so so down......but at least i am glad that still exist on this planet people like you and my fellow preach...so keep posting....keep saying your thoughts clear and loud...afterall you have nothing to be afraid by expressing the truth... clown in the shadows
