Low Key Weekend

Low Key Weekend I had not made plans for the holiday weekend up until last week. It was probably a good thing because we all know how unpredictable teenagers can be. My decided at the last minute she wanted to spend the holiday weekend with me so I had to come up with something. Lucky for us there is a nearby campground and even luckier for us, we were able to rent one of their cabins for the 4th. We'll be spending the 4th "roughing it" by the pool- haha! So the baking bug is starting to hit me. It usually does around this time. Yesterday my and I baked and decorated a patriotic red velvet flag cake.  Today I'm thinking about baking a berry cobbler! I just love cobbler. It reminds me of when I was a living in the country and we would go pick wild blackberries growing on my parents farm. We would bring them home and my mom would turn those delicious berries into a cobbler. What are some of your favorite baked desserts? Nothing necessary for me, but I would want to give you a wonderful 4 hr minimum massage...minus the apron of course...lol

IF I were around you and you were wearing just your apron I doubt either of us would get much baking in!!! Lmao! However, if by ANY chance we had some extra time I would bake you a Pecan Pie. So much more delicious than any bought in stores or restaurants. Much more and darker brown sugar. Have a Great Fourth sexy!  Hugs

Hey...Thanks for sharing plans. I think this what independance day is for...sharing it with family / friends, enjoying good food. The cake looks very yummy. cobbler is one of my favorite deserts too. I some times will have it with ice cream One question do you always bake in nude (Miss sexy baker)  )

Growing up on a farm in tropical south India, you can pluck dozens of varieties of fruits from the tree such as passion fruit, litchis, guavas and many type of mangoes and plantains. One of my favorite baked desserts is Pineapple upside down cake. Simple but awesome with fresh organic ingredients.
