Beers and Blues

I'm excited! After a phenomenally hot late summer, fall like weather has started to arrive here in Kansas! My friend Julie and I are taking advantage of it today by making our annual trek across the state to one of the best free blues festivals in Kansas. I'm pretty excited. A day of live music (some of the best up and coming blues artists) coupled with my second fave: FOOD!

I spent the better part of last night preparing our picnic: cheese stuffed tortellini pasta salad with smoked salmon, Italian pinwheels, and fruit infused sangria! Aside from listening to some fantastic blues music, I also like to people watch. It's interesting to see the different people that turn up at these festivals.

Aside from having sex (Duh, we are on a sex site!) what activities do you enjoy doing in the fall?

 I like to watch things fall in the fall. Leaves fall, the temperature falls . . .I wonder if Rome fell in the fall?

A friend, good food, cool temps and warm tunes, who could ask for more.

 Visiting the state fair. And festivals! There are so many types of festivals in the next 2-3 months there's no shortage of places to go and things to see. We have a bluegrass festival coming up in a couple of weeks, plus a couple of local festivals for arts/crafts and food. Busy time of of year!

I miss the Oklahoma state fair. When I was a little girl (I spent the first 13 years of my life living there) my parents would take us to the state fair nearly every single year. My favorite building was the botanical exhibits. I am jealous you are going. Have fun!

 There are a lot of music festivals being staged all over the UK at the moment.
I enjoy watching soccer on a Saturday in the fall.

 in my town we have a bikes blues and bbq, they do a bike run, bring in blues singers, have a bbq contest and have have hot air balloons. in in october sometime, you could come down for it, i would have a place for you to stay. i try to make it to the state fair, but did not make it this year.

 -Building FIRES indoors, or in the garden, in my chimenea or fire pit.

-Baking

-Road trips to see the foliage

-Shopping for new clothes

-Finally being able to wear thigh highs, over-the-knee socks, pantyhose....LET THE COOL DAYS KINK BEGIN! Hot weather pleasures to me include swimsuits, lotion covered tanned skin, tan lines...very different.

 I love the fall, my favorite time of year. I make a number of trips to Arkansas for apples. Both to eat and bake my soon to be famous French Apple Almond Tart. Having a great meal at one of my favorite places and just driving with the windows down. I even enjoy the rainy weather.
