 I recently turf ed out a bunch of old shoes. I kept only 1 pair of black pumps, because they are staple in a so wardrobe, but they are such a pain to get into and wear, I only wear them once every couple of years.

But I regretted throwing away my white patent "fuck me stilettos". They were a gift from my ex-BF, and I'd only worn them once. But I wished I'd kept them, when I did my recent lingerie photo shoot.

I know I'll have a difficult time with getting rid of some of this batch of high heels but they are gathering dust and as I've learned shoes don't last forever, they deteriorate and eventually fall apart. It seems such a waste for them to sit in their boxes to eventually be thrown out!

I've been slowly but surely purging my closets of the clothes and shoes I'll never wear again. For the most part I'm okay with it all but there are a few twangs of pain in there when the item is gone. I keep thinking that the memories are locked in my mind, not in the item. Funny how I put myself through the mental gymnastics!!

 You need to pose in them and post before selling off those shoes. As a matter of fact, photos of you IN the shoes would probably up the price for certain "collectors".

You've got a point. This could only be accomplished after a pedicure because as my feet are right now, pics would not be flattering in high-heeled sandals!! Definitely food for thought!!
