A wife told her husband that she had slept over at a friend's house. He called her ten best friends. None of them knew about it.

The next night, he didn't come home. When returning he told he had slept over at a friend's house. She called her husband's ten best friends.

Eight of them confirmed that yes, he had slept over. And two claimed that he was still there!
