Evidently. of course the basic rule of thumb is that you get more interest also by having a profile pic. I prefer those with face pix or from the waist up over the other meat pix and usually don't even reply to messages with dirty pix or without a pic in my inbox unless they attach a face pic.

More tips:

- try looking up the user on hotmatch . you still can't see pics but you read intros

- use points to send messages. 25 pts everyday you log in, so you can email someone every 8 days. yay!

- upload pics and contribute to blogs, as mentioned
