what would you do if your partner gave you a hall pass ?
hang out with my friends!
hook up with a friend!
hook up with random person at the bar/club!
take a vacation/spa
alone time at a parents place/spa
not use the hall pass!

 If by "hall pass" you mean permission to fool around with others, I probably wouldn't indulge anyway, because I don't have anyone else to play with, and it is really difficult to find someone else that I'd want to play with. I suppose if I did have an alternate partner available, I'd go for it if I had permission, but I don't think my wife would grant me such permission unless she became sexually non-functional for a long time.

If it just means some free time to hang out on my own, I'd hang out with social friends. We both do that now and then; it's good to have some away time like that.
