When flirting goes too far

I am a flirtatious person by nature. I will talk to almost anyone that can carry a conversation. I have close male friends that are<b> platonic </font></b>friends. I value those friendships and will not do anything to jeopardize them. Last night that almost happened.
I have a close friend that is married. I always thought happily as I know his wife and have seen them together. They are awesome.
Anyway, last night I was at the hockey game and he came over and sat with us for a couple of periods. There was lots of flirting going on but nothing that was inappropriate. Then it happened, something was said and I felt my face flush. I knew he knew. He knew I knew. Thank God for the thousands of people around or we probably would have stripped each other and fucked right there.
He did the right thing and said he better get going. I got my emotions under control and went back to focus on the game.

 I can imagine what could have happened since I've been in a similar situation. Thank God for the thousand of people around you at that point of time LOL !

I guess sex should be the last thing on our minds if we wish to keep and nurture a platonic relationship.

From past experiences, I can vouch for the fact that it is indeed quite tough to restrain ourselves and remain within the boundaries in a platonic relationship especially when one is a flirt.

What your friend did is highly commendable !
