The Drive...Day 5
OH...MY...GOD!!!!

Today was some kind of driving day...first raining when I left Dallas...then snowing as I got close to Abilene, Texas, then a gigantic windstorm that blew six trucks off the road and on their side...It was insane...oh and to add, during the windstorm...a dust storm gives us drivers ZERO visibility...I ran out of gas between two towns in West Texas...had to call Onstar for help...just wild!

But I arrived safe and now can reflect on my crazy drive...tomorrow is a short drive and hopefully a reward at the end...meeting a fellow Manitoban at her winter home...keep your fingers crossed for me...it would be so awesome to get lucky...
