the Case of the Dissappearing Eyeball...lol Have you ever watched your watchers list? Lol...well it is a perplexing thing to do...I haven't spent much time at it, but occasionally I do tempt myself with figuring out who all my watchers are. Which is difficult sometimes because some watchers don't watch that often. Currently I have 28. A respectable but small number. One of the blogs I watch has 2000 watchers!! Yikes! I must admit I feel a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number...I'm sure the fine lady in question doesn't even begin to realize who is a watcher and who is not. Her numbers swing between 1800 and 2200, so even she has quite a fluctuation. My numbers are and have been in the high twenties for nearly a year. I have noticed that while the number remains the same, the watchers are often different. Hmm? So I guess I gain and lose at about an equal rate. That's cool but perplexing. Why do I lose people? Well I'm not arrogant enough to believe that NO ONE should ever leave...lol...But I do wonder why some people drop the eyeball? And the very perplexing ones are those who drop the eyeball but continue to visit daily anyway...hmmm? Why would you do that? Myself I am an avid watcher...I have about 25 blogs that I watch everyday. Some post everyday, some less regularly and some hardly once a month, but I am loyal and I keep watching. I have one blogger I have been watching for 4 years...she blogs maybe once or twice a year, actually going on 9 months without a blog, but, like I said I am fiercely loyal...lol. I have only ever dropped three or four people in the 6 years I have been on here. A couple have dropped and blocked me, sigh, and I guess that was because my comments were too pointed or close to home or maybe rude??, actually can't imagine that?? Me?? Rude?? heavens!! Wash my mouth out with soap and spank me blue...(well ok, red maybe)  I just marvel at how these things work on here. Its no wonder that so many people are doing Psych papers and Sociology papers on this site. I am quite proud to contribute to the education of the World's University students...lol..but seriously, if you're going to do that, how about and email getting the whole story first?? Its only fair after all...lol. that, by the way, was how Cheryl (my 20 something student from last fall) found me initially. For those of you keeping score I haven't heard from her since November, so she must be doing fine. In case you forgot her, here's a reminder...mmmm  If this site were indeed a microcosm of the world's society (I don't believe it is by the way) then it would definitely be worthy of studying. I'm sure many many things happen on her that are rare in the REAL world, or at least much less often. I recall from my psychology schooling that this sample would be prejudicial on the grand scheme. The Chi score would not be valid for sure...just a little jargon for those students out there who happen to be studying old farts on here like me. I know what you are doing...don't mess with the math to prove your thesis!! Anyway.... Just feeling a tad schooly today. I had am interview for a new this morning where I had to pull out all the big $10 words to get the job. I laugh at how my degrees have helped me in situations like that. Some people are so impressed by big words...sigh...I do hate to stoop to that level, but hey, a guys got to make his retirement fund, doesn't he? Anyway...please keep watching...although its not that important, I do love my watchers whether eyeballs or not...

If someone shuts their profile off you lose them as a watcher. I gain and lose at the same rate you do. But oh well, they either like to read me or they don't. I really haven't written anything to erotic in a while so that I think makes a difference too.
